Celebrating 90 Years of Library Excellence
The Monroe County Library System is proud to celebrate 90 years of library excellence! We are profoundly grateful for the ongoing support of wonderful patrons (like you) who have made this milestone possible.
We’re inviting you to be a part of this hallmark anniversary by sharing your favorite memories of the library. Memories will be preserved and added to our digital anthology, and can include your name or be shared anonymously. If you have photos you’re willing to include, we’d love to see them!
You can also explore the Library’s history, first beginning in 1934, with the 90th Anniversary Digital Anthology, powered by Biblioboard.
Then on September 9, 2024, branches across the county will host various festivities and events for you and your family to enjoy. Check out photo booths, 30s era board games, 30s dress-up events, treats, and more!
