Cookbooks

Local cookbooks from churches and other groups can be valuable genealogical tools. Names of submitters will place an ancestor in a place at a specific time, and also give researchers an idea of how their ancestor spent time in that place.

Tasting Spree 1974 Index – This cookbook is the result of a Tasting Spree held by the Dundee Area Sesqui-Centennial Belles. It includes names of recipe submitters from the Dundee area in 1974.

Tasting Spree 1975 Index – This cookbook is the result of the second annual Sesquicentennial Tasting Spree. It includes names of recipe submitters from the Dundee area in 1975.

What’s Cooking in Ida, Michigan Index – This cookbook not only includes names of recipe submitters, but also lists members of the Christian Mother’s of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, Michigan, in 1948.
