Library Seeks Authors Interested in Annual Book Event

The Monroe County Library System has issued a call for authors interested in being part of Writers on the River on Sunday, November 10, 2019.  The annual event gathers a diverse collection of local and regional published and self-published authors in the Ellis Library’s riverside expansion, where they have the opportunity to speak about their work (and sell personalized copies) to readers and book lovers of all ages.

Authors interested in being considered for this year’s Writers on the River are invited to send an e-mail (no phone calls, please) to bill.reiser[at]monroe.lib.mi.us.  Provide contact information, a brief biography, a description of your work, and any applicable links to reviews, press coverage, etc.  Deadline: September 1, 2019.

As space is limited, a declaration of interest does not guarantee an invitation to participate.  Authors selected for invitations will be notified by e-mail by September 9.

The Ellis Library & Reference Center is located at 3700 S. Custer Rd. in Monroe, Michigan.  Writers on the River 2019 will run from noon – 3:00 pm on November 10, 2019.
