Featruing Mark "Mr. B" Braun, Bob Seeley & Silvan Zingg
About the Performers
Born in Flint and now a Michigan institution, pianist / composer Mark "Mr. B" Braun returns to Ellis for a second annual spring blues, jazz and boogie-woogie concert. Mr. B will be joined in the beautiful riverside expansion by one of his piano mentors (and Black History Month Blues Series favorite) Bob Seeley and the Swiss master of the boogie-woogie, Silvan Zingg. Each artist will take a turn at the Ellis piano, and, if we're lucky, sneak in a duet–and, if we're really lucky, treat us to an all-hands (literally) on deck number.
Performing Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
The April 19 concert is presented by the Friends of Ellis and the Monroe County Library System and it's a celebration of and for Library Friends county-wide–but you don't have to be a capital-F Friend to attend.
Free and open to the public, no advance ticket required. Seating is general admission, first-come, first-served. Light refreshments will be served.
