Nationwide attention has been paid to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. People near and far wonder how to help and where to donate.

According to a post on the Flint Public Library’s Facebook page, the Community Foundation of Greater Flint is the suggested contact for donations.

Because the health repercussions of children exposed to lead will be “ongoing and long-term,” a fund was established at the Foundation to be a “supplemental resource to the ongoing pursuit of state and federal funding.” Donations to the Flint Child Health & Development Fund will be accepted through the Foundation and will be used to help Flint kids in many ways both immediately and over the coming years.
