Want to know what’s arriving in your mailbox in the next day or two?
Take advantage of a new FREE service offered by the USPS and see what will be arriving in your mailbox before you arrive home from work. “If it’s in the mail, it’s in your email.TM”
Informed Delivery allows users to digitally preview their mail and manage packages scheduled to arrive soon. Informed Delivery sends greyscale images of the exterior, address side of letter-sized mailpieces to the user’s dashboard or email inbox, and tracks packages. These can be viewed on a cell phone, computer or tablet.
Users can set up tracking notifications to find out when packages are on the way and get updates via text or email messages. Users can also order stamps, shipping supplies, and priority mail boxes to be delivered to their doorstep and arrange for free Package Pickup, as well as easily creating/printing/paying for shipping labels from home.
Visit the USPS Informed Delivery website to create a FREE account. Be prepared to verify your identity by answering a few security questions, then set up notifications to be sent to your device and start tracking your mail.
