MCLS Calls for Writers and Illustrators for the 18th Annual Writers on the River Event

Authors and illustrators of all genres are invited to declare interest in participating in the Monroe County Library System’s 18th Annual Writers on the River book and author fair.

The free event, which will take place on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Ellis Library & Reference Center in Monroe, provides readers with a golden opportunity to meet a gathering of local and regional authors, discuss books, and purchase signed, personalized copies directly from the creators.

Interested authors should email a brief biography and description of their work, along with contact information, to Bill Reiser, Ellis Library Manager, at bill.reiser@monroe.lib.mi.us by September 1, 2016.  No phone calls, please.

Due to space limitations, an email does not guarantee inclusion in the event, but every effort will be made to include as many authors as possible while offering as diverse an array of genres as possible.

More details on Writers on the River 2016 will be released soon.
