A New App for eBooks and Audiobooks – Meet Libby
Many people know and love Overdrive as an instant source of eBooks and downloadable audiobooks. Very soon, Overdrive will usher in a new, faster way to access its digital collection. Leave it to Beavers!
The Monroe County Library System and the River Raisin Institute have partnered together to display hand-crafted beaver sculptures at seven library branches through the month of June. The beavers were created by school children across Monroe County as part of the River Raisin Institute's Leave it to Beavers program. Growing with the Community – New Hours at Six MCLS Branches
Starting May 1, 2017, new hours will go into effect at six branches of the Monroe County Library System. Hours at the Erie, Ida, Luna Pier, Navarre, Petersburg, and South Rockwood Branches have been updated in order to better serve their communities. The decision was made after a month long process of gathering statistics and surveying visitors to MCLS branches. Library Partners with Shelter to Feed Hungry Minds
The Monroe County Library System is partnering with Oaks Victory Village to offer Story Times before free community dinners. Beginning February 15, 2017 children can enjoy stories while waiting for dinner to be served at the Oaks Victory Village on East Second Street in Monroe.
