Friends of the Newport Branch Library

The Friends of the Newport Branch Library meet the first Thursday of the month at the Newport Branch Library.  The meetings are open to all and begin at 4:30 p.m.

Membership Information

• Friend for Life – $1,000 or more
• Patron – $100
• Sponsor – $50
• Family – $15
• Individual – $10
• Senior (65 or over) – $5

Other than Friend for Life, these are annual memberships.

Community Book Sale

The Friends of the Newport Branch Library hold an annual Book/Bake Sale along with a Trinkets and Treasures sale to raise funds for programs, supplies and equipment for the library.  The friends also have a garden in the back of the library that they take care of.  The Friends also sponsor an annual Ice Cream Social at the library.
